Since the skinny jean emerged, I’ve never so quickly abandoned an article of clothing like the bootleg or flare jean. I first started the transition with wearing the Ambercrombie or True Religion looser straight leg jeans in the beginning of college quickly followed by the stretchy, tighter versions at Guess to whatever jeggings I could find. For some reason when I started seeing the 70s style high waist flare jeans, I was determined to find myself a pair. An impromptu trip to f21 and $23 later, I had these in my possession. I might look into a more quality pair if these go well. We shall see!

A little fashion faux pas once in a while never hurt anyone. Socks with open-toed shoes ftw!

    I love how the 70's come back twice every year. Vintage lovers never forgot!! they look great on you, def dive in and get some quality/actual vintage ones for your closet 🙂

    Love this look! I am tempted to haul out my trousers now. I have a few times but they seem to look funny on me. Comfy as heck tho!!

    I never really jumped on the skinny-jean bandwagon. I just don't find they to be flattering on me for the most part. Having said this, I'm actually wearing a pair of skinny olive-colored cargos right now.

    Anyway, I, too, have been lusting after the 70s-inspired flare jeans. I am looking for the perfect pair. But I love the look of them.
