The holiday weekend snuck up on me and I had absolutely no plans for Labor Day. Instead, I chose to view my unplanned weekend as a relaxing, staycation and catch up on meals at my favorite spots in town.

The weather started out in the 50’s and slowly increased to 80, but you bet your ass I styled this summery top for fall with brown leather details and accessories. I wore this top stain-free all day including a couple hours in Williamston, a quaint town outside of Lansing. I grabbed lunch at Gracie’s Place and indulged in deliciously buttery grilled cheese. And I snagged this super cute top (and a slew of other cute new apparel) after shooting fall looks at Fourth Street Boutique last Friday. I think she still has a few more for $68 if you love it like I do!
[top from Fourth Street Boutique, shorts by Levi’s, bag by Loeffler Randall, similar hat (on sale for $29), rings by Katie Dean Jewelry, necklace by Clyde’s Rebirth, vintage mules from the SHUDIO]

So cute!
Ps – Did you update your blog design? I really like it! I had a hard time reading the small font before and this is much easier for my aging eyes lol
