I stared at this dress in my closet pondering where and when I’d wear it. I picked it out since it’s so pretty and occasionally, I have reason to get a little more dressed up, but I really had to make this dress work for day to day. I de-fancified (made that word up and I like it) by pairing it with vintage chelsea boots, a hat and cat eye sunglasses. I wore it to local awards event where I played photographer and I’m glad I chose the boots in order to weave in and out of crowds snapping photos in a stealth-like manner that only boots like these would allow.
