I hate overpacking and getting out of town for two weeks in a warmer climate to visit Rob had me in a bit of pickle. Do I dress for fall? Will I miss all my winter outerwear? Should I dress in summer clothes? I ultimately packed my fall clothes and instead of layering like I might back at home this time of the year, I went minimal, comfy and classic and just a little bit sweaty on the hotter days.
I packed a minimal capsule wardrobe for two weeks including leggings, three pairs of jeans, two cardigans, two cropped tees, two sweaters, two sweatshirts, two jackets, four pairs of shoes (two pairs of sneakers, ballet flats and black boots) and three purses. I mixed and matched these pieces and did a lot of laundry to rewear them.
My Most Worn Clothing
I can’t stop wearing these Free People barrel jeans and they’re on sale at Shopbop in a few different washes.
These stirrup leggings. They run small but are great quality. I’m wearing size medium and love styling them with ballet flats or loafers.
My trusty black cardigan is from Target. I went up a size for an oversized fit and I bought this cream cardi while in Alabama also from Target.
My Khaite sling bag. My most worn bag this year! For a much better priced version, Madewell has an almost identical version for a fraction of the price, plus 40% off.
I wore my sambas quite a bit yet again! And some are fully in stock here!
