I’m no thrifter or real savvy shopper when it comes to great vintage pieces. My preference is to peruse the racks and online galleries of vintage shops and individual sellers who curated a selection of pieces that fit my aesthetic. It still feels like such a find and an adventure clicking add to cart from home, but whatever, this is my journey. Here are a few pieces I’m loving and who I love to shop from:
Vintage Sellers and Shops
The SHUDIO is one of my faves for vintage clothing and jewelry made from vintage or deadstock. My friend Merl owns this shop and she finds the coolest shit and partners with other cool vintage sellers to fill her store with incredible pieces.
My Edit Vintage is another great seller to keep an eye on. She’s also a friend and will regularly share pieces to shop on her Instagram. I recently bought a vest with brass buttons she added which totally elevated this vest and so glad it’s mine.
When I’ve visited New York in the past, I’ve found cool pieces at What Goes Around Comes Around.
I’ve bought unique pieces over the years from Lost and Found Vintage.
Recently discovered Lily Love Vintage out of Sarasota. Love how she styles and modernizes the pieces and especially love the gold jewelry collection.
Vintage Items I’m Loving
This Saint Laurent leather blazer is a great deal. So luxe.
And this Saint Laurent houndstooth blazer is just $148.
Loving this 1960s hand knit beige cardigan.
Do I need this ombre shearling coat for just $73? I think yes.
$130 vintage Celine jacket. Tres chic!
A vintage Chanel brooch from 1996. These age so well and I would prefer a vintage brooch over new. I’m eyeing this silver spiral brooch from the 70s though.
Vintage Bottega Veneta intrecciato shoulder bag. A third the price of something similar brand new and looks even more beautiful with age and wear.
An absolutely stunning silk slip dress in beige. I’d style this with an oversized leather jacket and black boots.
