Now that I work from home three days a week, I bought a new coffee maker, stocked up on Diet Cokes and an assortment of treats and healthy snacks.
I bought this Clyde’s Rebirth necklace a couple weeks ago when I was almost positive my bad luck for winning giveaways would continue. Turns out I did not win, so lucky for me, I bought this bitch before anyone else could.
So these straws are so pretty, but in reality, they suck and I feel like i’m drinking cardboard. You’ll still see them though. I’ll use them as props until they’re all gone!
I was looking for the perfect thank you card for my old communications assistant Hannah. She loves kitties and well, I love a little dark humor. If you can’t tell, that’s a proud kitty with a dead mouse (little x’s in it’s eyes.) This came in a set so I’m excited to express thanks to my new co-workers soon.
I spent the last week caring for this giant ball of fur named Dexter. I love all of his expressions that you can plainly see because of his light brown eyebrows. He’s the most lovable, cuddly animal I’ve ever met. He likes to lay in my lap at all times, paw at me to distract me from the TV and skip outside and hop through snow. I swear to god this dog skips in glee when it’s snowing lightly and he can run and explore snow banks.
Those straws ARE really cute…bummer they make your drink taste bad! And oooo that Clyde's Rebirth necklace is too good. Merl makes the best stuff, right?!

Aw, Dexter!! He melts my heart. Man, if I could I think I'd run a doggy day care out of our condo. Love dogs, so much!! And I'm all for your healthy snacks + I know what you mean about those straws. So cute though!! Happy weekend, sweets! xoxo

Love that necklace!
I've been tempted to buy those cutsey straws, too, as all the fancy bloggers seem to use them in drinks in their pictures. I wondered if they were not so functional, though. Looks like my suspicion was right!
