I celebrated my birthday a day early with a brunch at the new(er) Spanish tapas restaurant in Royal Oak called Le Dulce. And I tried avocado for the first time and actually loved it. I’m just getting so adventurous in my old age. I’ve also realized I don’t care for large birthday get togethers for my own birthday celebrations–give me small groups of people in a brunch setting–that is my dream day.
I threw on this emerald sweater and boyfriend jeans since I really just wanted to be comfortable for the drive and walking around shopping. It was sunny out so I ditched the coat later on and bought a few vases from West Elm, and then called it a day.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! When was the big day? I ask because my birthday was Saturday AND I came to the same realization this year (although I am a bit older–34). Crazy! Go Aquarians!
