There is nothing more delightful than day drinking at a beautiful winery when it feels like fall. I love coming up to Traverse City’s wineries at the peak of the season, when the tourists have left and the leaves change color. I’ll never understand why that isn’t the busy time of the year for the area and I can’t wait to get back up there when it looks and feels more like fall.
It was still very busy when we visited Brys Estate and Chateau Chantal, too busy for the likes of my mom and me, but the views are always worth the bachelorette party groups taking up all the room with their penis gear and tiaras.
A Fall Winery Style
For me, nothing beats stretchy jeans, a cozy sweater and comfortable wedge boots for a day out and about. It’s a simple formula that I always return to this time of year. I styled everything around the sweater which was quite easy to do since it will mix and match with just about anything in my closet.
Sweater Weather
I got the sweater from Sparrow Boutique, the v-neck is supposed to go in the back, but it seems reversible to me, and so I wore it the way I wanted to!
For another balloon sleeved sweater, this Free People sweater comes in so many colors and is 40% off (will need to snag one of these for sure.) And another cozy billowy sleeved sweater is 40% off, just $32. I’m also loving this exposed seam sweater, especially in heather mustard, a color I’ve gravitated towards so far this season.

I really like the drooping statement sleeves! It’s not something I usually see! 🙂
