ย I love a straight leg jean, especially a vintage style like Levi’s that I’ve bought in the past from vintage stores but they’re so uncomfortable and just never fit quite right.
And I was hesitant about these jeans from Everlane that were gifted–I picked them out hoping they would work for me and while I think I need to get these tailored to a length I prefer (I’m short and love an ankle length and much too longer right now), overall I love the fit and wash.
The Jeans
These 90s style jeans are super high waisted and magically lift my natural mom butt, creating a more flattering silhouette. They fit like a rigid, vintage denim but much more comfortable.
This jean trend is getting hotter and hotter and I’m betting it’s a style that has staying more this second time around much like skinny jeans of the last decade.
If you like a straight leg look, but more stretch then I highly recommend these Agolde jeans. They’re high waisted, stretchy and I love the raw hem at the ankle.
Madewell also has a ton of straight leg denim options and Madewell jeans are a staple in my closet–they make great jeans. This high waist cropped pair is my fave–love the wash.
And of course, Levi’s wedgie straight leg jeans are a solid choice too!
Styling the Jeans
The tried and true combo that always works for me is the tee and jean combo.
This $18 tee is what I’m wearing and I love it in sage.
This Rolling Stones graphic tee or this Queen tee would be cute with the jeans too.
I’m wearing these brand new Everlane sneakers too and they come in a TON of color combos.
These leopard sneakers or these snakeskin sneakers would be another great option to pair with the denim.
