The Best Outfit for Surviving the Heat Outside + the Cold Office

 I spend 8:30-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in a old, air-conditioned office and the off hours sweating in my no-central air home..and out about in the heat outside.

It’s tough to find pieces that work for the varying environments, but key maxi dresses and functional, cool footwear can make it transition seamlessly from office life to summer time happy hour. 

The Look!

I bought this $35 dress on a whim last month and finally wore it to work last week. It’s super soft, stretchy and in my favorite style of dress: a maxi dress with sleeves!

I styled it with these Vaneli slip on shoes that were gifted and they’re incredibly comfortable. They instantly felt broken in and like I was walking on memory foam! This look was perfect for work–just a couple low key meetings and lots of walking!

I also love carrying a tote to work everyday. Each day, I’m bringing my laptop into work and it’s easiest to throw in a bag with my wallet (and sometimes my gym clothes!) The Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM is my favorite, and now I’m considering the larger GM size to throw even more shit in!
