This month’s beauty edit is highlighting a mix of tried-and-true products along with new skincare items I’ve recently tested and added into the skincare routine rotation.
New Product Highlights
Maelove sent me a few products that I was able to handpick and my faves from the bunch include the refresher cleanser, a minty and refreshing cleanser that cleans pores, but isn’t at all drying on my already dry skin. That is by far the number one product I’ve loved, but I also love and use the Maelove Love 31 face oil every night along with the eye cream topped off with the face cream.
When my skin needs EXTRA moisture, the GoopGenes nourishing face cream is my go-to especially to use as a night cream. I’ve been using this product for two months since it was gifted and I’ll rebuy this product when I run out despite its price tag of $95. Definitely worth it.
Fre Skincare’s argan oil is quite the workhorse–I use it on my face in the morning and on my cuticles at night before bed. I bought this product after seeing my friend Maddy review the line on Instagram (use the link to take advantage of her 25% off code!) and knew I could use a multi-use oil like this especially come winter when my skin is even more dry.
Tried-and-True Products
The best sunless tanning lotion? Hands down Lux Unfiltered. This is a brand launched by influencer Sivan Ayla and I was hesitant to try it since I thought I loved the gradual tan lotion I was currently using it and I thought what the hell, I’ll give this a go–and I haven’t used any other brand since. It’s a thicker cream so it doesn’t drip all over, rubs in easily and smells like rose–and leaves my skin a beautiful, buildable tan that I love to use to supplement a natural summer tan or elongate my professional airbrush tans I get occasionally or on its own.
GrandeLash has been an affordable lash growth serum that I can officially say I love now that I’ve finally used it consistently for months and can tell a difference in length and volume of my lashes! This one is a lot cheaper than others on the market and work just as well as the expensive brands I’ve used.
When it comes to fragrance, I love an earthy, spicy, woody scent and my two faves are Byredo Gypsy Water and Diptyque Vetyverio.
