I’ve been blogging since 2010 and it’s still intimidating for me to go to events, conferences or workshops that are blogger-related. I get anxious if I measure up to everyone else and find myself in a state of doubt. It’s one of those things I’ve been working on–like being less of a wallflower, contributing and participating more and letting go of the comparisons. What’s great about Texas Style Council, you don’t even get those vibes of status or elitism. It’s just a bunch of cool people open to learning more, meeting other cool girls and having a good time.
This year is the last Texas Style Council and these photos are from 2012 (holy crap) and it reminds me of how much fun I had and what an amazing experience it really was, I can’t wait for this year! I’m speaking with Jentine of My Edit and Merl Kinzie, the designer behind Clyde’s Rebirth.
