I forget how amazing summer can be until I spend a day out on a boat, splashing in water, making sand castles, riding bikes and walking around summer festivals. All of which I got to do last weekend in Michigan.
I made another trip back to Grand Haven’s marina appropriately dressed in a breton striped sweater complete with anchor details. I was prepared for the boat!

As the day progressed, the clouds and rain finally disappeared, leaving us with a sunny, hot day, perfect for boating and sporting my wide-brimmed straw hat. And for snapping photos of Don who looked just too cute.
i always say how much i look forward to the fall when it's summertime, but things like that really are so enjoyable. love getting to bask in the water all day! my last few plans involve a holiday with a few friends for a week, seeing bright eyes and dave matthews concerts, and hopefully finish up some photography projects i've been working on. enjoy what's left!

The only plan there currently is is out trip to NYC and WDC, but that's all. A lot of friends are studying for their summer exams and I did everything during the year, It's pretty much me and my room these days. Love your photos! x

My summer classes finally just ended so I am hoping to really start enjoying the summer now :). I don't have any concrete plans yet but hopefully something fun comes up.

I've been ill all summer (5 weeks and counting now) but it was raining all the time anyway so I didn't miss out on too much summer fun… but even though I'm not fully recovered yet, I'm going to Paris for 2 days this weekend – I need to do SOMETHING good this summer!
