Linen is in high rotation this month, wearing blazers, shorts, pants and oversized tops in the breathable fabric plus fun jackets and bags that switch up the looks. Here are a few of my recent summer looks for work!
Summer Work Outfit + Key Wardrobe Pieces
I wear the same couple linen pieces every week to work, and unintentionally developed a capsule wardrobe for the season wearing lots of beige, white, black and grey. These Amazon linen pants have been a super affordable wardrobe staple that I wear for comfort and for dressier work days. This other pair is from a shop in Traverse City called Flea and this pair is similar.
I recently bought this buttery leather bag in tan (I first bought it in black and wear it on repeat and was a daily staple in Europe.) It’s just $150 too!
I spiced up the all black linen outfit with this black and gold Anderson belt. The outfit was too boring before and this belt pulled it all together. Also, these black linen shorts are my best summer buy!
Anything too dressy just doesn’t sit right with me so the linen pants and white bomber jacket look was complete with a pair of Adidas sambas. I first added a tan belt and sandals but it just felt too cutesy to me and the sneakers made the outfit for me.
I also bought this woven bag from Mango. It screams summer and I love the look and its functionality. It’s not in stock at the moment but lots of cute affordable woven bags on their site now.
