ย Matt and I made an impromptu visit to the beach, first stopping at Target for some beach day essentials like the umbrella and beach chairs–all on major clearance. I snagged the umbrella for $10 and each chair for $5! SCORE! They’re not marked down online so run to your nearest Target and grab the sales!
Relaxing Beach Day at Pere Marquette
Usually my beach days start with some optimism and end in hanger, back pain and a sunburn. Thankfully, it just took me 33 years to realize that a beach umbrella and chairs are an absolute must for me AND snacks! We brought Doritos, granola and water. Gotta carb up, even at the beach.
Affordable Swimsuits
I’ve mentioned this leopard suit many times–I love the fit, the print and the price. Plus, all Target swim is 20% off. I ordered a medium in the bottom (usually wear mediums) and ordered a large in the top since it ran so small, so size up.
Last year I bought bottoms similar to these from Target and they’re my favorite–they go with virtually all my bikini tops.
I’m also into this striped bikini, similar style to the leopard print, but in red stripes and a ruffle bandeau top. For another spicy two piece option, I love this red bikini with high waist bottoms, again in a similar fit as the leopard print one I’m wearing! I own this red one and the fit is similar, so size up in the top!
