There are things that can keep a long distance friendship going and one is blogging and partnering together with Sam of Samantha Elizabeth. It keeps the bond strong when we live 7 hours away from each other!
This isn’t sponsored, but we were both interested in trying Amazon Wardrobe and be able to pick our own box–and share our thoughts!
What I Picked
I went with fall wardrobe essentials, some things in my budget and some things outside of it for funzies like the silk midi dress that I’ve been wanting, but wanted to try on first without commitment.
Faux Shearling Coat: This coat was priced right at $142 and I love the collar and silhouette. Keeping this one!
Chunky Sweater: Loved the fit and feel of this sweater–and the color. I have a million sweaters like this already and as much as I liked it, didn’t think it was worth the $70 price tag. Returned.
Leopard Print Ankle Boots: I’ve been on the hunt for dressier ankle booties and leopard print is forever and always a favorite of mine. These were slightly too small so sent back. I’m usually between 8 or 8.5 and definitely need 8.5. Considering reordering.
Silk Slip Dress: This type of dress has been on my shopping list for months and just never came across it in person to try on. I didn’t share any photos of this one since it was so wrinkly, but I did love it, just not the $228 price.
Plaid Print Pajamas: The print and color looked cuter in person than online and I didn’t even bother to try them on. Returned.
What I Thought
The frustrating process of finding items that qualified for Amazon Wardrobe made it hard for me to find items in a quick manner that I expect from online shopping. It wasn’t easy to navigate and I wish I would’ve brainstormed a wish list before I went on the wild goose chase of random things.
I also feel like a week wasn’t long enough to give myself time to try stuff on and make more thoughtful decisions! I may try it again one more time to see if it works better this next time. Has anyone else tried it yet? Check out Samantha Elizabeth’s experience too!

This is the first I’m hearing of Amazon Wardrobe! I recently bought a fedora and black dress from Amazon that I was extremely pleased with so this might just need to be something I try! I love all your picks especially the heels and sweater!
