I usually stray away from wearing white. I never found it to be too flattering and I’m a stain magnet. But then I discovered bleach and realized that I should wear whatever I want whether it’s super flattering or not, so here we are with oversized silhouettes and wearing fur slipper sandals in public.
Anywho, I’m sharing two looks with these fabulous white pants that I bought two or three years ago. It’s taken me that long to figure out how to style them and now my cup runneth over with ideas.
Linen on Linen
I love billowy silhouettes and the linen top and bottom make for a perfect summer outfit for West Michigan weekend hangs. Linen is so breathable and I was able to float around through Family, Farm and Home in Sparta to pick up horse feed without overheating.
Mixing Cream and White
The second look below was inspired by a Pinterest pin I stumbled upon. It mixed white and cream and I loved the combo, something I would’ve never thought to pair together on my own. The cropped cream sweater by Free People I bought a couple weeks has been on heavy rotation in my closet, and even though I’ll admit it was slightly too hot to wear, I did it anyways. Now that the summer weather is a more palatable 70 degrees, I’ll probably be wearing the look again real soon.
I also bought this sweater in blush and wore the look last weekend to my friend’s 40th birthday surprise party. Who knew the pants I bought three years ago would get this much wear finally?

I’m in love with this outfit! I have a thing for whites and creams, as well as loose fits. Loving the whole relaxed, normcore trend. ๐
