This pre-spring outfit is one of my favorites so far this year. Why, you ask? Well, it’s mostly black and contains my favorite pattern which is of course stripes, but with a little subtle print on print action with the pant.
Finding the Perfect Print Pants
I usually take a hard pass on any pants with prints, I’ve always been a little self-conscious of my thighs and I never want them to look bigger! Somehow these magical pants by Bitte Kai Rand at Retail Therapy fit like a dream and made me feel great even with a print. I styled them with a leather jacket and my go-to platform oxfords.
Things I’m Loving Lately
Besides these dream pants, I’ve been obsessed with a few things I thought I might share with the rest of you. First, the Nume curling wand. I’ve owned many curling irons over the years and I’ve also continued to struggle to get my hair to look 25% as good as when the salon does it for me. But, this wand is so incredibly easy to use and the curl is beautiful. I did my own hair in these photos (and lately in past posts, that’s me doing my hair too!) Ulta sent this to me a year ago and I only started using it a couple months, which is a good reminder: when you get free shit, don’t let sit and collect dust.
Next, I’ve owned these platform shoes for almost two years. They’re by Summit White Mountain and I scooped them up from Lori’s Shoes in Chicago and since then, I’ve added three more of the same shoe, different print, to my closet. And I just checked they have them on clearance right now.
I also can’t get enough perfect bars in my life. I feel like everything I’m sharing is old news to everyone else, like I’m the last to know about a good curling iron and a delicious protein bar, but just in case one of you has no idea, I will have done my part to spread the good news. My favorite flavors are peanut butter/dark chocolate chip and peanut butter coconut.

Chic outfit! I personally don’t style print on print myself, but it’s nice to see bloggers out there making bold moves! 🙂
