It’s officially summer and finally feels like the hot, humid Michigan summer weather that I come to hate, but if I try to be glass half full… at least I can wear rompers again!
I styled this romper slightly different below, wanting to share a couple ways to style this adorable and affordable romper!
Styling the Romper
One way to style this is much more casual with a pair of flat sandals, trendy PVC bag and an oversized hat. Super comfortable and casual! This is perfect for a farmer’s market, brunch or anything more laid back.
If you’re shopping for sandals, now is a good time to scoop up a pair from DSW. With code SUMMERFRESH, you can get $10 off ย $49 or $20 off $99. These Dolce Vita sandals are so similar to what I’m wearing here! These $40 Dolce Vita slides look so expensive and comfortable, perfect combination. These slides are fabulous too and dupes for the popular Hermes style sandal, coming in different colors and prints.
If you’re into the clear handbag trend, I love the Staud bags and own two! For more affordable options, this $48 bag from Topshop is especially chic with a wooden handle.
This romper also looks great with a pair of wedges, layered with delicate gold jewelry and a shoulder bag for a night out!
This wedge in white or metallic gold would look cute with this romper, plus the wedge isn’t too high. And I can’t say enough about how comfortable AND stylish Dr. Scholl’s shoes are and these wedges are right on trend. I wish this brand would sponsor me because I love how cute and functional they are.
For layering delicate gold jewelry, I always wear Katie Dean Jewelry. Personally, I love Katie and I used to help sell her jewelry in Michigan and love the feminine styles and how easy they are to layer. My favorite is the feather necklace that I’m wearing here and it’s actually on sale.
Rompers to Shop
I love a romper and I thrive in them with my short torso and bathroom efficiencies. I bought this orange printed romper for $40 in a size small and it fits true to size. Fit perfectly! I love the sleeve and the silhouette. It hugged me at the smallest part of my waist! I also love this pink off the shoulder ruffle romper (and it comes in a ton of other colors.)
These aren’t a romper, but these cozy leopard print overalls are a great piece to throw on this summer with a black crop top and sandals!
For a super simple, classic romper, I love this black romper from Target (also comes in rust!) And it’s on sale for $18.
