Sweater Style
I mentioned last week my goal was to incorporate various styles of sweaters and make them work for my style, even the super feminine ones with flowers in a classic silhouette. Generally when I’m styling a feminine top, I add it with jeans and a leather jacket. It’s an easy outfit formula I repeat on the regular, but I remembered one of my coworkers gave me this old skirt from her closet. Lately, I’ve been given so many great pieces from stylish women in their 60s and I don’t turn down their cast-offs!
My Challenge: Wear Less Black (sometimes)
It was so hard to not throw on high waist black jeans, black boots and a black leather jacket with this look, but I resisted! For me, it still feels a little edgier with the suede jacket and dark brown ankle boots and to be extra, the beret seemed like the final necessary touch! I have a problem with always resorting to black too. Love the outfit! ๐
