Styling a T-Shirt Dress

I’m bidding adieu to summer in the perfect t-shirt dress. I styled it with light tones of tan and brown to ease it into the season I’m impatient for. I usually keep a low profile on Labor Day weekend, doing very little and trying to relax and this was the perfect look for such an occasion.

T-Shirt Dress Styling

I’ve proclaimed my love for the t-shirt dress before, but I haven’t yet ventured into much color with one until now! I picked this one out from my friend Leah’s Lularoe collection–she asked if I would style a couple pieces and because I love her dearly, she could ask me to style a burlap sack and I could never tell her no and I was delighted to discover this dress silhouette existed!

I’ve been envisioning styling this with white sneaks and a jean jacket, but that’s the summer version. I am here for fall and fall only! I love styling t-shirt dresses with platform oxfords and easy slip on shoes, nothing too fussy. And a jacket can really change up the look and a little tan suede adds a subtle fall vibe (and is perpetually one of my fall staples year and after year.) I’m also still obsessed with backpacks and borrowed this LV one from Brooke.
