I wandered about the capitol yesterday with my friend Becky. Our capitol is so pretty and so we decided to snap some pictures on the steps. I’ll have to go there more in the future for outfit shots.
For this particular outfit, I was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, Caroline. As much I’d like to drop $300 on the pair of Ian sweatpants that are either the same or very similar to hers, I just couldn’t fathom spending that much on sweatpants and have been since searching for a less expensive alternative, which I found at American Apparel for $38. I feel as if this outfit is somewhat a dichotomy and that’s why I like it so much.

I wouldn't spend that much on sweatpants either, but have to say you pull these off quite well! that lost photo is awesome – roller derby = fantastic!
I love the last shot, funny! The pants are rad, they go so surprisingly well with heels. Btw, your hair is totally awesome. My hair has a similar curl thing going on but it's definitely not as thick. Do you cut it yourself or do you go to the salon to get it cut?
Ah man, Roller Derby!!! You are officially the coolest girl ever!!! It takes a real woman to do that kind of thing. It looks like so much fun!
Oh, so get this! My city doesn't allow roller skating rinks (too dangerous) so there will never been a roller derby crew in these parts.

I've been loving the sweatpant trend, but still have yet to muster up the courage to try it. First I must find the right pair of sweatpants, and now I think I will be venturing to the AA site! I love this look and how you styled the pants. Adorable shoot too!

Everyone seems to be loving the sweatpants, but I'm not a fan, haha. I can barely convince myself to wear jeans out of my dorm, let alone sweat pants. It's just not for me. glad to find someone else that plays derby!!! I played with the Connecticut RollerGirls for 2 1/2 years when the league first started. I've moved and had huge life changes so I can no longer play, but I miss it with all my heart! Keep it up!
