I love an understated, casual and minimal wardrobe, but I am interested in some playful and bold style trends for spring, some of which I’m already wearing.
Anything Leopard Print
Animal print is a neutral in my eyes and I’ve always been a huge fan. I’ll be wearing these leopard print wide leg track pants for my upcoming European travels. Here are a few more pieces I’m loving in this recent blog post.
Bold Pops of Color
I’m also eyeing the green or bright red track suits. I have a black pair I style for the office but would love to add a bold pop of color and then style it with a grey tee, light bomber jacket and white sneakers. I’m also interested in a pair of red sneakers but every pair I’m finding keep selling out!
Sheer Fabrics
I want to try out this sheer trend even though my preference is modest layers and showing almost no skin. I think something like this skirt paired with an oversized sweater or tee would help balance the look.
Peasant Tops
My style used to lean so boho and now I’d like to incorporate a couple more peasant tops back in the rotation like this one that balance out black wide leg jeans. I don’t want to be all sweet, but maybe a delicate, intricate top paired with denim and/or leather this spring.
