Spring Pleats!
Michigan’s weather is fickle, just can’t make up its mind and I’ve gotta roll with the punches, which means styling my spring clothes warmer or cooler based on mother’s nature whim. This top is a perfect example of something super feminine and perhaps a bit dressy that I wanted to both style more casually and also for any temperature.
Look #1
I styled this look for some freelance work in Rochester last weekend–it was freezing! I added a pair of sandals, tan suede jacket and a summery hat with light distressed denim. This look pretty much up sums up my spring style as I try to momentarily give the color black a break and wear more light, neutral tones.
Look #2
I love taking a dressier style top and dressing it down. No easier way to accomplish this than pairing it with cut off denim and ankle booties.
