The SHUDIO Grand Reopening

The SHUDIO’s New Space!

No matter how much I hate the city of Chicago, it can’t keep me from supporting Merl’s shop grand re-opening. Merl moved her shop the SHUDIO down the street in Pilsen to a much larger space with a much larger studio area for her jewelry making. She put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into transforming the space and I headed down to help with tasks like sweeping and vacuuming, anything to help her meet her deadline of opening the shop last Friday at 6 p.m.

I realize now I didn’t snap any wide angle images that capture how tall the ceilings are and how expansive the space is! I’ll be back in town again in the next couple weeks and will snap some then!
