Requiem

This past weekend for moving my shit into a new apartment was snowy and cold. Naturally. The weekend before when I had no plans, it was wonderfully warm so I showed off my ankle hair in a pair of culottes paired with a simple black sweater and leather jacket. I wore this for brunch with my friend Jen in Grand Rapids at Terra where I inhaled a breakfast pizza and longingly watched Jen sip her mimosa. I had to hold off on alcoholic beverages because of migraines. I need to get back there and eat the breakfast pizza WITH a mimosa.
Before I left for New York City a few weeks back, I snagged Kat Von D’s lip stain in requiem because it looked so good on the associate there. I didn’t like it as much as me, but figured I should give it more of a chance, and glad I did! I never wear anything so light and pink, but it matches my hair and somehow made my lips appear more plump, which I love. What’s your favorite lip color right now? I’ve recently become obsessed with trying new colors.
