When it doubt, keep it basic! I wore this to work last week when I couldn’t decide on anything else and each of these pieces are a wardrobe staples in one way or the other with some elements easy to trade out and in as fall approaches (I’m so ready for the next season.)
The Basics
Obvs, a white tee is a great place to start. My two favorite are from Target: this Universal Thread tee that I own in a medium and a large (and getting next in the heather grey) and this Wild Fable boxy tee in a medium. Here’s I’m wearing the UT tee in a medium since it was the least wrinkly.
A leather jacket is always an effortless way to add a little edge and I have a handful of leather jackets for this purpose. This Lamarque jacket is cropped and while it’s pricy, the cost per wear is already so low since I wear it so often. Here’s a great option that’s vegan and on sale for $100. My friend has this one and love the quality and price.
Barrel jeans–I love the fit and silhouette of this style and find them to be equally flattering as they are comfortable to wear. Here’s a similar pair by Frame to what I’m wearing and I’m loving these Gap jeans in medium indigo. This Mother pair is also on my mind. This brand is one of my favorites.
I got these leopard sandals from Zara and as we head into fall, I’m eyeing these leopard heels from H&M and these mules! And these slingbacks look like they’re a lot more $100.
I love woven bags and have a couple from Bottega Veneta. One pre-loved and one new and I love the pre-loved options at The Real Real. I also love this brown bag from Anthro that has major Bottega vibes for $148.
