Raincoat Necessities
Well it’s April and it rained (and snowed) last week and I’m hoping it’s the last of that bullshit. When I’m not wearing the same camo hoodie every day it rains, I style something slightly cooler like this look with a striped rain jacket. The quintessential rain coat has been this necessity I didn’t know I needed until I realized most of my spring jackets are suede and I’ve been needing to stock up more of that in-between jacket that can withstand precipitation this season.
Besides this one from Retail Therapy, I also love this affordable, rain jacket, this Joules rain jacket in multiple prints and colors, and this swingy silhoutte is just $59.
Finding New Styles + Lines I Love
One of the things I love/hate most about my freelance work at Retail Therapy is all the things I don’t think I like, need or want until Celeste starts carrying them at the store and I end up trying it on. And then I like it and want it. This raincoat is exhibit A and all of the Lack of Color hats I now own is exhibit B. If you’re interested in finding new and interesting lines to shop, I highly recommend checking out the designers and labels Retail Therapy carries–some of the coolest lines.
