Fall Layering Favorites

Us midwest folks are still experiencing this odd transitional weather. I’m freezing in the morning and sweating by mid-afternoon, making layering absolutely necessary. And my favorite fall layering piece, you ask? The vest.

I’m guilty of owning too many vests, but it’s my go-to for finishing a look, or just being warm. A vest paired with a tunic has become my weekend uniform lately. I wore this in the morning for a photoshoot for FLEXcity Fitness with leggings and changed into a pair of frayed, step-hem cuff jeans to entertain my niece in Old Town and out for frozen yogurt. She snapped these photos and even Monday’s photos. Pretty good and she’s only ten years old! I put that kid to work when she visits.
