Well, the night had started off innocently enough. Miranda, Merl and I headed to Karyn’s for a sleepover to enjoy some drinks and get a tour of her beautiful new apartment.
After watching an unimpressive episode of SNL, Karyn suggested an activity that got 14 year old me (and let’s be real, 27 year old me) overly excited: prank phone calls. If you don’t know Karyn, she can impersonate virtually any human being on the face of the planet and she can archive any song that’s ever been created in her mind and sing them by heart. The top song of the night for the prank calls? Aaron Neville’s ‘Don’t Know Much‘. And she nailed it. She also sand a fantastic rendition of Cher’s ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’, the Full House theme song and rapped Beastie Boys’ ‘Sabotage’.
I don’t remember the last time I laughed that hard.
