I was disappointed I couldn’t be there last Friday for Merl and Karyn’s store opening for their new shop, Market Supply Co., located in the Pilsen neighborhood. So after shooting a wedding in southwest Michigan on Saturday, I drove straight to Merl’s for forced cat cuddles and to play catch up. And then we ventured out to the store the next day. It’s cozy with a cabin feel and is filled with beautiful vintage clothing, accessories and Merl’s jewelry. Once I stepped in, I didn’t want to leave. Getting to hang out in the coolest shop with Merl and Karyn and trying on vintage hats too small for my hair was just too much fun.
For lazy days and traveling, I packed these jeans, cozy sweater and boots. How I’ve longed to wear sweaters, boots and leather jackets and for once, I was completely fine with a rainy, cold day to wear layers and tuck away my hair in a braid.
