I bought some new beauty products during the Sephora Sale and then a few more from Bloomingdales in the last month–here are my faves!
Favorite New Beauty Products
Emily Schuman shared her love for the Merit lightweight lipstick in color Baby (a neutral pink) and I immediately bought it that day since I loved the natural color on her. And I love it on me too! It’s lightweight and doesn’t dry out my lips. If you like a neutral pink, this is a great option.
I’ve been using Glossier’s boy brow for years, but wanted to try something new since the boy brow brush isn’t my favorite and typically end up with a lot more product smeared on my brows than I’d like. So I bought Bobbi Brown natural brow shaper and the brush is a little bushier and applies the product much more evenly and disperses less product lending to a more natural look that I prefer. I always prefer less than more product for any make up.
Looking for a perfect everyday balm to add a swipe of color to your lips while still leaving them moisturized? Chanel’s healthy glow balm in color light is a win for me. It’s lightweight and easy to apply, something to keep in your everyday bag when you need a little something on your lips.
Merit flush balm in cheeky is a new color I’ve added to my collection after trying it out in the baby pink hue Stockholm. It’s buildable and so easy to apply that I wanted to try another color. This one is a cool pink although it is darker on me and I like this one when I want a heavier cheek flush for a night out or date. I usually use Stockholm everyday for work.
I’m so picky when it comes to mascaras and my preference for a mascara is something that lengthens, adds some volume, but doesn’t weigh down my lashes or clump up, I want lash separation and just a more natural version of my own lashes, just a little longer and thicker. The Buxom mascara has been my go to but I was on the hunt for another option equally as buildable but maybe a little more volume for everyday wear. The Milk Kush mascara is my new favorite. My lashes don’t feel stiff and it gives a natural lash look with a little more va va voom.
Lastly, I started using Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow creme solaire SPF 50 about a month ago. I use it as a primer before my tinted moisturizer just to ensure I have the proper SPF coverage and it adds a glowy, dewy base that works well on its own on even a no make up day.
