I love a monochromatic outfit–it simplifies dressing and packs a punch without much effort. I’ve been wearing a lot of all white/cream looks and as I transition to cooler temps for fall, I’m pairing shoes and accessories that add more contrast. I’m also planning to wear a lot of midi and maxi skirts with sweaters as its easy to dress for warmer days or cooler days–or layer!
My Transitional Uniform
I’ve updated my work wardrobe with more midi and maxi length skirts that I can easily dress up or down–I can see a million ways to style this skirt with different tops and ways to style this sweater with other skirts in my closet. I’d style this sweater over an accordion skirt or cream wide leg pants, and I could see a cropped sweater or bomber jacket with a striped top looking super chic with the skirt!
Here’s a similar bias cut skirt that I’m wearing. Here’s another similar skirt from Abercrombie that’s on sale too.
My top is from Zara, but I also love this super soft sweater, perfect for fall. Here’s another similar sweater and I would size up for a similar look.
For a trendier shoe choice, I love these black ballet flats with a strap or these Old Navy flats or these Mary Jane flats I’ve been eyeing. These super chic boots are also in my cart and would be perfect for fall.
I love these looks with a slouchy bag for a relaxed look or a shoulder bag for a little more polish. These secondhand Gucci bag is the right price and so cute or this larger black woven shoulder bag. This woven crossbody is adorable too and just $175.
