I packed efficiently for a weekend trip to Washington DC to meet Rob and was able to dress a little more for the weather I want for the morning and shed layers by early afternoon when the weather crept up to 80 degrees. Here’s what I packed and wore:
DC Travel Outfit
My style is pretty minimal and I dress for comfort which is exactly how I dressed for this trip.
For the travel there, I wore this Vuori boxy tee which is a total staple in my closet year round for everyday wear including workouts. I paired it with Lululemon align leggings and these silver Adidas sneakers and my oversized Anine Bing sweatshirt. For dinner, I added this denim Celine hat (another similar affordable version for $13) since I was a bit disheveled and the hat hid it all.
DC Outfits
I packed two pair of jeans: this pair of Frame denim and this pair of Frame denim. The first day, I started my day with a tiered babydoll top with jeans and in the morning, I threw on my go-to cropped leather jacket (a faux leather option) and black ballet flats (got these Chanel secondhand off Poshmark a year ago.) Once the day got going, it became too hot and I changed into a white tee and added this Anderson belt so it wasn’t a complete bore.
On the second day, I wore this James Perse tee that I’m glad I threw in last minute with these jeans, the silver sneakers (another similar pair) and my Khaite bag.
