My New Beauty Buys

I’ve slowly been integrating a few new things in my beauty and skincare routine. My skin is still dry AF, I’ve said goodbye to lash extensions and my obsession with fragrance has intensified, so here are a few new items I’m using:

Laura Mercier Illuminator Powder

I got this illuminating powder product a few months ago, but finally started using it and it’s perfect for that radiant glow that I’ve traded in the Laura Mercier loose powder that I’ve used for years for this illuminating version (It looks great on top of my spray tan and gives me that extra glow I need this winter.)

Jo Malone Oud & Rose Cologne

I ordered Jo Malone oud and rose online after reading so many positive reviews and knew a smoky velvet scent would be an instant favorite of mine without even trying it first. And now it’s become my favorite scent along with Diptyque Vetyverio/Vetiver.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

I hopped on the Instagram band wagon and I picked up Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask for myself after another frustrating week of severely dry skin. Instead of keeping the mask on for just 10 minutes, I put a thin layer on my face and go to bed with it on, letting it completely soak in. My cheeks have been the driest and it’s already helped soften and moisturize the rough patches on my face.

Lash Boost

Now that I have my lash extensions gone, it’s back to growing my natural lashes. I ordered Rodan and Fields Lash Boost a few weeks ago and still waiting on results, but I know I have to be patient! I’ll keep you all posted on my lash growth progress.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick

I have so many Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks now, I love the nude and rosy shades the brand carries. Pillow Talk and Very Victoria my two top favorites, but also love this pale pretty pink one called Liv It Up.

Coola Sun Silk Creme

I’ve been wearing Coola Sun Silk Creme as a primer and plan to bring it with me to Florida to wear. It has 30 SPF, no weird smells, lightweight and absorbs nicely. I typically wear IT Cosmetics CC cream with SPF 50, but I’ve been going for an even more natural look so a spray tan and this product is all I’ll need on my vacation.

I also use the Coola sunless face serum and will pack with me on the trip! This isn’t a new product I’ve been using, but I’ve loved the color and been using for a year!
