I’ve simplified my beauty routine and here’s my beauty must-haves and what I’m using day to day. It’s a mix of tried and true products and new-to-me products that I recently purchased during the Sephora sale influenced by friends!
My Beauty Essentials
My latest makeup base is either Jones Road miracle balm in dusty rose or a little moisturizer mixed with Drunk Elephant B Goldi drops. Either way, I start with Peach and Lily match pudding cream but if I skip the beauty balm, I add the drops to my moisturizer. I like the Peach and Lily moisturizer since it’s weightless but delivers some much needed hydration in the morning. The miracle balm was gifted and I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and for someone who loves a no make up make up look, and has dry skin, this feels and looks amazing on my skin.
Next, I add a little concealer under my eyes to brighten them and my go to is Armani’s concealer. I find that the color options match my skin so well and blend beautifully.
Then I added a pea size amount of Erborian cc cream which melts right into my skin and layered on top of the beauty balm or drops just makes my skin glow and even out my skin tone. My goal is to look like I’m not wearing make up and I hate anything heavy.
There are plenty of blushes I love like Merit, but lately I reach for the affordable Pixi on the glow blush. It takes just a quick swipe because of the size and I love the color.
I bought the sculpt stick by Milk Make Up and like that slightly more on my skin than the Westman Atelier version I’ve been using for years. It’s slightly lighter and looks more natural on my pale skin. I use this on my nose mostly.
I swear by Charlotte Tilbury’s pressed powder and use that after I’m finished with cream products.
Next, I use Bobbi Brown brow shaper, just a quick swipe on each brown and brush my brows up for a fluffy full look.
And lastly, I add a swipe of mascara. First, I use the Tweezerman lash curler and lately, I’ve been loving the Clinique high fi mascara (gifted and been using for 1.5 weeks.) My goal with mascara is to separate and lift my lashes with a little volume. Again, I want it to look super natural and not clumpy and this does the trick–and it doesn’t smear all over my face like my original favorite Buxom. I still like Buxom since it’s a little lighter of a formula but the new Clinique mascara has been working great especially on work in office days when I can’t touch up my face.
And I add a little Summer Fridays to my lips! My all time favorite lip balm.
