It’s almost the start of my candle season as I tend to light them more during fall through winter. I gravitate towards warm and spicy scents, anything reminiscent of fall or winter and vanilla.
My Luxury Candle Picks
My first and all time favorite is Diptyque’s Ambre candle. It has such an intoxicating scent and while it’s pricy, it lasts a long time. This 34 candle is almost as beloved as the amber candle.
My second favorite is Jenni Kayne’s musk candle. I typically wait to snag these on sale and I just restocked. The votive is dark and moody, which is a bonus. Looks beautiful in any space.
You can’t write a candle or fragrance post without mentioning Le Labo and the sandal 26 candle is truly incredible. Or try this more affordable alternative which smells just about the same.
A year or so ago, I stocked up the winter candle by The Koop, but that scent is no longer available. I’m intrigued by a few of the other scents and the updated packaging is beautiful.
Sable Candle Co. is a Grand Rapids based candle company and I’ve bought a handful of candles–and for my birthday last year, I participated in a candle making workshop where we brought in our own vessels and poured in them. Kind of blew my mind! I have a handful of votives from past candles that I plan to bring in and have refilled (a great way to save money and repurpose past candle votives!) Tobacco and vanilla is my favorite scent and goldenrod.
