There are a handful of new-to-me products that I tried and loved this last year from concealer to heavy duty lip balms. I’ve also found a new signature scent that I wear almost daily. Read on for the round up of my absolute favorite products that I tried this past year:
Favorite Products
Summer Fridays lip butter balm is my go-to everyday balm gloss. I’ll wear this over my lipstick or alone in the tinted or beige color. Of course it’s completely sold out online right now (it’s that good.)
For more hydration, I swear by Revision Skincare Youthfull Lip Replenisher. It soothes and plumps up my perpetually dry lips (especially in the winter!) I keep one in my nightstand and apply every evening, and keep one in my home office!
The Gucci Luminous Matte Beauty Blush is an absolute dream in color rosy beige. It’s smooth and blendable, and such a beautiful natural color.
The Beauty Blender Power Pocket Puff is the best $15 I’ve spent. I’m not much for perfectly setting powder and getting that into makeup, but it does truly have a blurring effect and appreciate how my undereye looks after using.
I was obsessed with the Chanel cream bronzer until I read reviews of how the Saie sun melt cream bronzer is super blendable with great color pay off and it lives up to its hype! It’s so smooth, easy to apply and I love the natural color (I use light bronze.) Plus it’s a much better price. The Saie brush is the perfect brush to use with it and I’ve been using exclusively since April 2022!
I haven’t really been fond of concealers until I finally tried the Armani Luminous Silk and Under Eye Concealer–it blends so beautifully and instantly brightens the undereye while looking incredibly natural. And I’ve been able to find the perfect color match that I couldn’t find with Nars (pretty fair skin in the winter and everything was either too pink or too yellow.) The packaging could use an upgrade though. I end up wasting so much of the product and it can get messy.
For some reason, the Heretic Dirty Vanilla perfume hasn’t garnered the strongest reviews online, but it was a scent I was instantly drawn to in store. It’s not a sweet vanilla, but a bit spicy with notes of amber, sandalwood and spicy coriander. It’s become my everyday scent and I do apply it throughout the day sine it’s a clean scent, using natural ingredients and it tends to wear off more quickly.
