I’ve been ready for a little refresh and it all started with my hair this past week! I have fresh fall color, an updated hair cut and some new, classic fall pieces for my wardrobe. Plus a few skincare treatments I’m hoping gets my skin in tip top shape!
Fresh Color and Cut
I’ve been anticipating a fresh cut and color for a month now and finally got it all done in this past week. I wanted more of a fall bronde rather than a bright blonde I was for my wedding. It will grow out nicely and I love the beige tone rather than anything brassy or ashy, it’s the perfect color for me. And I just got it cut this past Wednesday and asked for a 90s style look that came with face framing and some soft layers. I opted for face framing that started just beneath the chin and I can still easily pull my hair back without a ton of hair in my face. I feel renewed and refreshed!
Fall Wardrobe Staples
Now that the temps are starting to drop, I’m starting to wear some key capsule wardrobe pieces like this camel mohair sweater I’m wearing, this grey boucle cardigan with gold buttons and I just bought this Celine lookalike black boucle jacket for a fraction of the price (bought a size small in all!) I’ll be wearing all of these pieces with basic tees I’ve owned for years like the white Zara tee in the photos.
For shoes, I’m still loving these J Crew black ankle boots (these H&M boots look just like these!) Super chic! Still loving my white Sambas too!
For accessories, I’m wearing some chunkier necklaces I already own and eyeing this heart pendant necklace and this piece that’s on sale, Tiffany vibes and I love it.
A cropped moto jacket is a must this season too and so far, I’m loving the one I bought from Zara.
Cargo pants are also a staple, they always have been but the newest iteration is a low slung wide leg like this Madewell pair and these if you order up a size that I own. Plus this pair that I’m wearing!
Skincare Procedures
Tis the season to get skincare procedures again! In the summer, I always take a break from scheduling skincare procedures like chemical peels or micro needling just because there’s more sunshine and I’m outside more. My skin needs something too–I’ve been using medical grad skincare for 1.5 years and see drastic improvements, but I need a hydra facial stat and a laser.
