My haircare routine has evolved in the last year as my hair grows longer and I experiment with a new haircut and how to style it. Here are the products and tools I use and my routine:
Weekly Hair Routine
I wash my hair every 5-7 days with the help of dry shampoo. I typically rough dry it with the Dyson blow dryer, my holy grail blowdryer. It’s an indispensable tool for me with someone with thick and dense hair. It cuts the blow dry time down significantly and especially paired with the Dyson Airstrait, I can look presentable in probably 20 minutes or less. If I even run the Airstrait through my hair half hazardly it dries the rest of the way so smooth and it’s so much better on my hair than heat tools. You can read my full review of the Airstrait here. Also, almost everything linked can be bought on sale during Sephora’s sale through Nov. 6 using code TIMETOSAVE.
Hair Products I Swear By
For shampoo, I wash my hair twice using the Quai detox shampoo and the Oribe gold lust repair shampoo. I love this combo on my hair, it feels super clean and hydrated. I use the Brazilian Blowout deep conditioning mask still and will add some of the Oribe gold lust conditioner over top and let that sit on my hair for a few minutes. I towel dry my hair and add Dae prickly pear oil followed by a spritz of the Oribe detangling hair primer and the Oribe blow dry spray to protect my hair. Love this combo!
When my hair needs a little pick me up, I use Living Proof PhD dry shampoo.
Tools
I can’t live without the Dyson blowdryer or Airstrait and if I decide to curl my hair (more loose 90s blowout style), I use this curling iron and I just bought these self grip rollers to use around my face for bouncy volume.
I also highly recommend this Yves Durif vented brush–I use it on wet hair and I have a mini Yves Durif brush for travel and everyday use.
