My Closet Refresh

I’ve gradually refreshed different rooms in the house, changing out small details like a pillow to larger impact pieces like replacement furniture that fits the space better. I bought my house just over three years ago and I find small updates makes it feel new again!

The Closet Room

I converted one of the guest rooms in my three room home into a closet complete with garment racks, a vanity and shelving for shoes, bags and accessories. And I’m finally making a lot of small changes that have made the room feel bigger and more my style.

I bought this mid century desk in a light green color and it’s no longer available in this color, but it comes in white and pebble. AND it’s on sale!

My chair was from Target and this version is at Target now.

This beige sheepskin rug is new and it’s 25% off at Lulu & Georgia.

I finally found the coziest neutral rug that replaced an old ratty faux cowhide rug I hated that was too dark. This light rug brightens up the room and is such a soft sweater-like material.

The large mirror leaning on the wall is from Overstock and was the best price I could find for a large mirror. I love the thin wood trim on it too.

I also bought a couple larger glass bookshelves from Ikea for this room that I can’t wait (for Matt to assemble.)

What’s Next

Now that my basement is renovated and the closet room is just about done, I’m focusing my efforts making smaller tweaks in other rooms like living room rug replacement, new shelving and possibly switching out a couple dining chairs which always refreshes the room! Will share more as I make more updates!
