I was inspired to assemble my own vision board for the new year to visualize what I want with flexibility to let things go if my needs shift. I don’t need to do or accomplish everything, but overall I want to feel more peace and relaxation.
2024
I plan to cook and bake in 2024. I really don’t like going out to eat since I have to do that for work so often and instead of meal prepping the same couple things, I’d like to explore more pasta meals, soups and baked goods like scones.
I’ve got a couple trips on my mind–perhaps west in some direction like Montana, Washington and/or Banff. I would love to plan a trip to Italy too, but ultimately, my goal is to save this next year and pay off the rest off my student loans so that may not happen in 2024.
I was so inspired by last year’s trips to Paris and the French approach to skincare and beauty. I’ve continued to pare down my beauty routine, relying on products that are more skincare focused and my plan is to continue to lean into French style for hair, beauty, skincare, etc. The more natural, the better! I’d also like to find a tutor to learn the French language and be able to confidently have conversations (and I’m planning on a 2025 trip back to Paris so I’d like to be ready by then!)
I used to journal all the time and it’s really just become daily planning and to do lists which is great and I plan to continue, but I’d like to get back into daily writing for fun. And I’d also like to read more and find some good sci-fi/fantasy series and not just read biographies and memoirs which are usually all I find myself reading.
My interior style is ever evolving and I’d like to make some small tweaks as long as I’m at this house and manifesting a home where Rob and I live together full time.
Lastly, I’d love a vintage Hermes bag, something beat up that I can throw everything into. Another thing that probably won’t happen since I need to save, but I’ll keep my eyes open for a steal and keep this on my list for years to come.
