The last leg of my UP adventure with the parents included a visit to Kitch-Iti-Kipi, Michigan’s largest spring. There’s a self-operated raft that we hopped on to slowly venture across and back the 40 foot deep spring to marvel over the clear, blue water and all the giant trout swimming beneath us.
I’ve been to the Upper Peninsula plenty of times, but this was the first trip I spent more time exploring the major outdoor attractions–and every single one was worth the drive, bugs and weird smells.
