I had not mentally prepared myself for the throes of the hot, hot heat in Vegas and when Day 2 rolled around, I had to get my ass outside for the iHeart Music Festival Village where performers like Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor performed. I got this cute little crop top and shorts set to wear for both the daytime and nighttime festivities.
I met Fergie that evening in wet n wild’s hospitality suite, I think I both hugged and shook her hand? It was a blur. And then I headed off to the second night of the festival and basically lived the dream of aunt and niece by seeing One Direction perform. For me, it was more of an anthropology experiment, watching how people reacted to these bands. Tears, screaming, all of that was immensely entertaining for me to observe.
