While summer isn’t my favorite season, I do love draping myself in linen and how effortless the fabric lends itself to my looks whether I’m running errands or have a day full of client meetings. Here are a few linen outfits I’ve styled recently and the key pieces to shop:
Effortless Linen Looks for Summer
A linen blazer: This linen blazer is old and is probably on its third summer of wear and it’s one of the most worn pieces in my summer wardrobe. I styled the outfit below for work last week paired with longer vintage shorts from my friend’s shop the SHUDIO. I tucked in a tank and added ballet flats! Shop this budget blazer from Amazon (similar to mine that I got from Target), this oversized boyfriend blazer or this Old Navy one!
A striped linen top: I’ve worn this striped linen top a handful of times and H&M has several cute options like this one and this one. This J Crew top is super cute too and on sale.
An oversized white linen button down: I live in an oversized white linen top in the summer. They’re my swimsuit cover ups, my extra layer on a breezy summer day and an essential piece to a classic summer work outfit. Love this Abercrombie version (if they’re not already oversized, I generally order two sizes up, I never like a fitted button down.) Eyeing this Sezane one too (will be in Paris later this week to shop in person.)
A linen pant: I love a pull on linen pant and recently bought a few including this printed version (like you’ll see below!) and this wide leg pair from Amazon that I was skeptical about until it arrived in person. These are the H&M pants I have too!
