DSC_4784I recently discovered I’m not actually 5’4″. I’m a little under 5’3″ and I feel like I’ve been living a lie. I have no idea what led me to believe I was a little taller, but I confirmed my height when I randomly stood next to a height chart. 
Being on the shorter side, I’ve been wary of flats, but these are easy for travel (they fold up!) and in leopard print pony hair, they’ve become a staple already. I have a hard time owning up to my body shape and I like to pretend I’m tall with six inch heels, but I’m going to be done with that nonsense! Not done with heels, but open to the sake of comfort when I need to be a little more practical.

DSC_4772I love wearing sweatshirts with shorts. It doesn’t make much sense, but I love it. I’m on the hunt for more fun crewneck sweatshirts for beach nights and patterned shorts. Any suggestions on where to find more fun shorts?

    Idk why it's so cute but you're right, it doesn't make any sense! I love patterned shorts especially for the summer!! Most of mine are from Forever 21 but I haven't really looked anywhere else.

    Funny, I have been 5'2 1/2" most of my life and recently discovered I'm now 5'3". Not much but it feels weird!

    Those flats look so comfortable. I have the worst time shoe shopping so I might check those out.

    I'm also afraid of flats, even at 5'7. In fact, I don't think I own a pair that aren't sandals. But you, the queen of sky high heels, have made them look pretty tempting.

    i have grown almost an inch in the last 6 months! i am almost to the height i put on my drivers license. (i kept hoping i would grow more!) i am now almost 5'3!

    I guess technically you're "petite". Do you shop the petite sections? If so, do you have any favorite shops for us petite people?

    I just discovered I'm 5' 1 1/2" when I thought I was 5'2"!

    I thought we were the same height!! Well you look amazing in flats, and I absolutely love that these fold up. I'm always throwing flats in my bags when walking around Chicago and commuting. And I'm obsessed with that soft pink sweatshirt! I love it paired with the shorts.

    Great outfit. I also love long sleeves with shorts for some reason.

    i just got a couple of awesome lace shorts at the Gap today. I think they'd look awesome with a blazer or something a bit more edgy because they're very "pretty."
