I struggle with what to wear to reconcile my corporate position and my personality. It’s an ongoing challenge since what I’d prefer to wear is best suited for a graphic designer at an ad agency, but I love my career in corporate communications and I could never actually work for some super cool hip place since I prefer keeping regular hours, working out of a cubicle and alongside older generations since I’m an old, old grandma soul. Shift dresses like these are the perfect compromise, I get to have my comfort and yet, the color and details with this particular dress make it a little more special.

Looking hot, Grandma!! 🙂 I remember when I worked a 9-5 job myself. I would go back and forth from embracing looks from Joan on Mad Men and menswear ideas from Katherine Hepburn. It was fun, but after awhile I got tired of the same old combos. This red dress speaks for itself!

Beautiful dress. Office appropriate but not at all boring.
