Maybe it’s because I’m lazy, but I love wearing a one-piece like a jumpsuit, maxi dress or romper once the weather starts to heat up.
I wore this one from Target in Sarasota last week for exploring the Selby Gardens and downtown Sarasota, but will be wearing here in Michigan very soon, but layered with a leather jacket and closed toe shoes for the time being! I’ve rounded up a few of the jumpsuits and maxi dresses that I’m eyeing–a mix of cozy basics and more bold versions.
Cozy, Basic Jumpsuits
I’ve been drawn to a mix of super casual and basic jumpsuits and maxis. The kind that you can wear everyday with ease and style up and down along with bright, colorful versions that are just as versatile, but feel a little less like pajamas! The super cozy jumpsuits are easy to find right now.
Express has an online sale for 40% off everything online including their cozy selection of jumpsuits like this three quarter sleeve version that comes in three colors or this tie waist culotte jumpsuit that comes in black. I bought this knit jumpsuit from Target last week, comes in black and olive and I have it in black. You can wear on its own this summer or throw on a long-sleeved shirt or short-sleeved shirt to wear this spring.
This jumpsuit is perfect for the office and I love how it looks like separates with the printed bottom and the black top with ruffled sleeves. And this linen version could easily dressed up for the office and downplayed with birks on the weekend. Especially love it in olive!
Colorful and Bold Maxi Dresses and Jumpsuits
And I’m eyeing colorful ones just because it’s been such a gloomy winter and I’ve been wearing black leggings and sweatshirts on repeat and wearing something that just feels pretty and fun might help me have more fun. I especially love this tropical print off-the-shoulder maxi dress. This striped jumpsuit from Express is also so pretty and I like the draw string on this one to help cinch in the waist. This striped jumpsuit I’m wearing in this post is super easy, comfortable and versatile.
And I love every detail on this frill crop jumpsuit by Topshop–it comes in cream and burnt orange, both colors I love. And lastly, this Madewell striped version is 40% off!
Affordable Sandals to Shop
I snagged a couple Blowfish sandals to pack for my trip since they’re incredibly comfortable. I have probably a dozen Blowfish sandals at home, tried and true! I brought these wedge sandals in nude (on sale!) and these wedge sandals in grey, but both come in so many color options.
I also really like these ankle strap wedges (very small wedge heel!) They’re super feminine and versatile, and $25. I also need a simple everyday sandal without a heel in my spring/summer life and these crossband sandals appear comfortable and like they wouldn’t slide off like similar versions I’ve found. I most recently ordered these Dolce Vita wedge sandals (the SLIGHTEST tiniest wedge but give you a little lift and I also find these are comfortable than anything completely flat.) I ordered these for Florida but they arrived the day I left but they fit so nicely, I’ll pack them for Phoenix next month.

That’s a gorgeous jumpsuit, I love the colours. And I’m the same as you, I love jumpsuits and rompers because that’s a whole outfit without having to worry too much about styling separate pieces.
