Jeans and Sneakers and Faux Fur

Andrea’s Day Off

I was kind of sort of forced to take extra vacation days before our holiday break and my extra time off turned out to be the most delightful.

First, I started the day off doing nothing. I watched a few episodes of Mozart in the Jungle and ate a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich AND a slice of apple pie. Then Maggie met up with me and we headed to Old Town where I bought possibly my 15th pair of sunglasses from Retail Therapy and then headed off to Kellie’s Consignments to find leather and fur coats.

We ended our day of shopping Celeste’s closet. Celeste (who owns Retail Therapy) invited us over and she had us try on leather jackets, dresses, cashmere sweaters..We left with new wardrobes. I left with a fur bomber, cashmere poncho, cropped leather jacket and an Elizabeth and James vest.

Off Duty Style

Free of the business professional wear obligations, I opted for my favorite t-shirt, a faux fur jacket one might not normally wear on a weekday afternoon in Lansing and a pair of Adidas.
