I’ve busted out my classic blazer for pre-fall styling (thanks to some cooler weather!) I’ve styled it with longer work-appropriate shorts and trousers in just the last week.
Styling Blazers this Fall and Make Them Feel Fresh
Name a a more classic duo than the blazer and trouser..This combination is something I swore off after my college and intern years since it felt too stuffy to me, but the style now is much more casual and comfortable. I styled with my go-to Beyond Yoga tank and tucked it under so it could be more of a crop. Just a little bit of skin showing makes this look feel fresh and modern.
This Everlane blazer is gifted, but it’s by far my favorite blazer in my closet. It’s a relaxed silhouette with an exaggerated shoulder and I loved it so much, I got in camel too. I have it in my normal size 6 in black and went up a size in the camel blazer for more of an oversized fit.
The draped trousers fit true to size (maybe slightly loose which I like!) I’m loving a trouser right now and these feel so comfortable and you can dress them more casually too.
Below, I styled the blazer with a fitted tank and the longer, billowy short style. I added the Balenciaga bag and a pair of quilted slides. This style works a little bit into fall before it cools down.
